Madrid, 13th October 2021 – Jump data-driven video, Accedo, and MPP Global have announced the second data-driven video summit. The summit, which takes place virtually on 21st October, will be an opportunity to learn about the state of data-driven video. It follows a very successful first event last year and is set to become an annual temperature check for the state of the industry.
The data-driven summit will cover the evolution of video businesses and use of data to drive growth through increased customer engagement, as well as discussing the data strategies that OTT platforms could undertake to improve their subscription revenue. Other topics include how sport brands can take advantage of their fan’s data and the real challenges when it comes to personalization. It will feature real use cases, giving participants the opportunity to learn about the challenges and opportunities of different data strategies. There will be speakers from Accedo, Jump Data-Driven Video, MPP Global, UKTV, Pureflix, Mediapro, Canal+, RTVE, M7, Live Now, Gain, and Kaltura, amongst others.
Jerónimo Macanás, CEO, Jump explains: “With the impact of Covid-19 still being felt, it is important to allow our partners and customers the opportunity to meet and discuss the data-driven video landscape, albeit in a virtual way. We are excited to be working with both Accedo and MPP Global to bring this event to fruition.”
Bleuenn Le Goffic, VP Strategy and Business Development, Accedo adds: “A data-driven approach to video, if implemented well, has the potential to increase customer engagement, improve service retention, and ultimately increase revenue for video providers. This is more important than ever following the unprecedented disruption in the media industry over the past 18 months.
Ian Gray, Head of Global Channel & Strategic Alliances, MPP Global says: “Last year’s event featured a range of engaging discussions from both technology and video service providers. This year’s agenda is again packed with interesting topics aimed at helping media companies adopt a data-driven video strategy as part of their long-term objective to drive revenue.”
