A year of disruption: what have we learned

We meant in our first edition of this Data-Driven Video Summit to be the professional video industry’s authoritative benchmark for assessing the progress and debating the future of television’s digitally-driven distribution transformation.

In this introductory panel the CEOs at Streann, MPP Global and Jump briefly discussed how lockdown has affected video service providers all over the world and what´s the state of data-driven video in the Post-Covid World and what they have learned from this year.

Jerónimo Macanás from JUMP gave his point of view and insights about the results gathered from the aggregated data of Jump’s clients and his analysis about the post-COVID world. We all know data is fundamental to be able to measure anything and to be able to predict its future behavior. He explained which is the more interesting data he extracted from this lockdown and which of them he thinks will keep the trend and which ones were just punctual moments in the market due to this extraordinary situation.

Paul Johnson from MPP Global explained what´s his analysis from this scenario and how he thinks lockdown has affected video service providers and what he thinks they have learnt from this situation.

At Streann, Gio analyzed what´s the state of data-driven video in the Post-Covid World from his point of view and how are video service providers adapting to the new market trends in the short run and what’s his forecast for the long run.
